So I am in my 30's and been married a few years now.
I have 2 gorgeous labradors and I am prob going to post loads of pics of them...
I have been with my better half for just over 10 years now.
We have been trying to conceive for just over 8 years with no joy.
So 2 years ago we started investigations into fertility and were origionally told my husband was diagnosed with azoospermia.
In the last 4 months we have learned that this is not the case and may have been a laboratory error etc.. however we will never know.
He has been given the all clear and I have had tests done, bloods, internal scan, a hsg - where dye is injected up through your womb to look to see if there are any blockages, it was such a strange experience and sensation, plenty of painkillers were consumed before the procedure but the results were good.
Tubes were clear so its an "unexplained infterility".
So our next step is trying IUI, (Intrauterine Insemination) with Cork Fertility Clinic .
We are waiting on an appointment once our referral has come through from CUMH and hoping to start the treatment in the New Year, there is a 17% chance it will work on each treatment.
